Fans of Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue may not be expecting her to grace Singapore shores for a concert any time soon, but next month they’ll get the next best thing when 100% Kylie comes to town.
Endorsed by the songstress herself, who dubbed it the “best Kylie act” in 2010, 100% Kylie is the world’s longest-running and most-successful Kylie Minogue tribute show, having performed sold-out tours in Spain, Italy, China, Dubai and New Zealand, among many others.
The production will take the stage at Hero’s (69 Circular Road) on Saturday, August 22nd at 9.30pm.
The show replicates the look and sound of Grammy-winning Minogue, who has had a plethora of international hits including Locomotion, Spinning Around and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head throughout her illustrious decades-long career.
It includes exquisite replica costumes and dance moves, as well as outstanding renditions of songs from Minogue’s vast discography – sung live, without any lip-synching.
The star of 100% Kylie is Australian personality Lucy Holmes, who fits the Kylie mould to a T from her luscious blonde locks to her megawatt smile and that ever-familiar voice.
Hero’s 2,500 sq-ft space means attendees will enjoy a more intimate, up-close-and-personal performance from Holmes and her crew, which includes four back-up dancers.
